About The Event

In the rapidly evolving educational landscape, student engagement and personalized learning have become critical components of academic success. The integration of technology in education offers unprecedented opportunities to tailor learning experiences to individual student needs, thereby enhancing both engagement and outcomes.
In line with these goals, the University of the Philippines Diliman has been selected to host the 5th AUN-TEPL Symposium this year, with the theme: Student Engagement and Technology-Enhanced Personalized Learning. This symposium will provide a platform for educators to explore strategies for leveraging technology in personalized learning and enable participants to engage with international experts, enriching their perspectives on different learning technologies.
Established in 2019, the ASEAN University Network for Technology-Enhanced Personalized Learning (AUN-TEPL) is a thematic network under the AUN, hosted by the Singapore Management University. It aims to foster collaboration among ASEAN universities to enhance student success through technology-driven personalized learning. Its key objectives are as follows:
  • Build capacity amongst participating universities through a series of symposium
  • Create a platform for universities to exchange educational tools and content
  • Promote technology-enhanced personalized learning as an area for inter-university research collaboration
